Jeff Wisot is the founder and senior pastor of Life Community church. He surrendered his heart and life to Jesus Christ in his early 20’s and has served Christ passionately ever since. He immediately began running Bible clubs for children in Tacoma and then in the inner city of Baltimore. Jeff was a business owner for years while leading a small Bible study. Soon it grew into a strong, vibrant church as he turned from business owner to full-time senior pastor.
Pastor Jeff earned his Master’s Degree in Leadership from Luther Rice University with a Bachelors in Biblical studies from Maryland Bible College and Seminary. He is happily married to his wife Nancy of 26 years and they have 4 beautiful daughters, Jacqueline, Lindsey, Gabrielle and Katherine. Pastor Wisot is known for his precise Biblical teaching and his vast knowledge of the scriptures. He has served as the vice chairman of Community Hope of Delaware since its inception in 2006. Pastor Jeff is an avid competitor in ½ ironman competitions nationwide throughout the year.
Pastor Ron Anthony
Ron Anthony was born in Chester, Pennsylvania. He attended Overbrook High School as well as Philadelphia College of Bible. He was married to his sweetheart Joan for 29 years until her passing in 1990. He attended New Covenant Church in Philadelphia for 10 years and led 4 bible studies, while working as a bus mechanic. He also led the Prayer Ministry and was part of a security and outreach team.
Pastor Ron began attending Life Community Church eleven years ago. He drove by the little white chapel on Otts Chapel Road and always wondered what was happening in that tiny little building. After visiting several times he shared his vision for intercessory prayer and has faithfully led the Prayer Ministry at L.C.C. for the past 8 years. He has been gifted with the ability to sit where people sit, be a friend to those in need by lending a listening ear, and pray words of faith that will be an encouragement. His passion for the church is to see the Body come together to worship Christ. He loves hearing the Word of God preached and see it transform lives. He also loves going to weddings, seeing the testimony of two lives becoming one. His hobbies include working on electronics and playing competitive tennis. He has one daughter, Tara, who lives in Philadelphia. Pastor Ron resides in Elkton, MD.
Pastor James & Luemisher Boone
Born in Roseboro, North Carolina in 1939, Pastor James Boone attended Charles E. Perry High School. He and his wife, Luemisher, were married in 1965 and raised 2 children, Julius and Denise. James and Luemisher served at Open Heart Ministries for 30 years. His affiliation with Life community Church began when he attended Delaware Bible Institute from 2001-2003. He began attending Life Community Church in 2002. His service to the church was first as a deacon, ministering to and caring for the congregation. Upon completion of his Bible courses he began serving as a pastor and has continued in that capacity for the past 7 years. Pastor Boone is passionate about sharing the life of Jesus with others. He is an encouragement to all, and supports new believers and helps them grow in their relationship with the Lord. He desires to Intentionally Serve Together to Reach People and Change Lives. Pastor Boone is responsible for the church grounds, his example of hard work and stewardship are a model for us all! He currently resides in Newark, Delaware with his wife Lou and they have 2 children named Julius (51) and Denise (36).
The Trustees have the responsibility of overseeing the physical assets, policies, procedures, and general business of the church including but not limited to: church finances, oversight, operations, and maintenance of the facility, budgeting, long range facility and financial planning, capital campaigns, and expansions, and reducing risk of liability. The Trustees meet monthly.
The Deacons are the care ministry of the church, reaching out to meet physical and spiritual needs of people within the congregation. The Deacons serve our families and serve as ushers and assist in ministry needs especially with events. The Deacons meet bi-monthly.
