“The Strength for Women Ladies class at Life Community Church has been pivotal in my life. Alexis’ teaching is real, raw and life-changing. Each and every week I learn something fresh, something which facilitates growth in my spirit and creates depth in my Christian walk. They say if someone doesn’t get plugged in with at least 7 people when they go to a new church, they won’t stay. The ladies Life Class and all the other ministries and ladies events that fall under Strength For Women Ministries, are a great opportunity to do just that. Coming from a very small church where I knew everyone made it difficult to come to a bigger church like LCC. “I have been extremely blessed by the Strength For Women ministries at Life Community Church! I love attending the Ladies Life Class every Sunday! Alexis is a gifted teacher and everyone is friendly and welcoming. It feels like a happy family. I have been especially blessed by one of the SFW ministries called Lydia’s Closet. This past year I have been in the process of losing weight. Due to budget restraints it would have been very difficult to purchase new clothes from a department store as my size fluctuated. I have dropped several sizes and Lydia’s Closet, where everything is $1.00, enabled be to afford clothes during this time. I was also able to bless others and donate items back that I could no longer use. But what I received far exceeded what I could possibly give. “The Lord has blessed the ladies at LCC, and me personally, in a tremendous way! We were praying for a godly woman to start a ladies class and He blessed us more than we could ever imagine! A little over 6 years ago God led Alexis to take this role of leadership and she has done an outstanding job. She loves the Lord, knows the Word of God and desires to be faithful to Him and bring him glory in her own walk and life. It’s obvious she desires to help other ladies as well. She knows how to get right to the heart of the matter and what women need to hear in order to grow closer to the Lord and in their walk with Him.
